Positive / Continuo Organ by Hupalo & Repasky
This one-manual, seven rank instrument is based on organs of the late 18th century that were familiar to G. F. Handel. The organ exhibits an exceptional variety of dynamics and sonorities available to the player.
The 8 ft. Stopt Diapason is generously scaled to provide a full rich sound. An exception to organs of this type is the addition of another milder 8ft. rank. The combination of these two 8 ft. ranks provides a sensuous sonority. Above this the performer has the option to add the 4 ft. Chimney Flute for a mezzo piano volume or to add the 4 ft. Principal when more emphasis is called for. The 8, 8, 4, 2 ft. stops collaborate for a forte capable of supporting oratorio choruses.
The stops divide treble and bass and with the use of the Sesquialtera allow for solo performance of organ concerti up through the works of Haydn.
Other features include: transposition between modern pitch and a-415, pedal pull-downs, a substantial music desk, mobility, and compactness measuring only 34" deep and 54" in height without the pedal board.
