Flue Pipes
We offer pipes made of metal. To have control over our product, we cast our own alloy of 50 % tin and lead. However, the exact ratio of tin to lead may be specified by the customer.
It is our normal practice to flatten the upper and lower lips. Other mouth styles may be specified. Pipes over 4' in length are made of copper with soldered-in mouth inserts of spotted metal. Large pipes may be supplied with soldered on copper hooks.
Languid bevel angles are offered from 45 to 70 degrees, depending on the nature of the pipe.
Flue pipes are supplied with custom made aluminum cylindrical tuners. Pipes may be ordered using other tuning styles such as cone or scroll tuned pipes.
When height is a concern, flue pipes may be mitered. Another solution to space limitation is the Haskell style pipe, which we offer.
We do not make stock sets of pipes. Each order is unique. We are here to make YOUR pipes.
